things i love..

I love days like this. Days where I can relax and get better.  I eat chicken soup and watch reruns of shows. I get Michael to bring me things and make me ice cream. And having  Conner read me stories to help me feel better. And being lazy and not feeling guilty about it--getting your wisdom tooth pulled is not so bad after all. :) Simple things make everything better.

Reading Thomas the train to me.

OH BABY!

BABIES ARE EVERYWHERE! I am so not joking. haha.

I sign in to facebook...they are there. Cute little pictures of tiny little bits all taking over my news feed. So sweet.

I go to work...there are cute little preggo friends wadddling down the hallway and friends going in to labor. haha.

I don't have enough fingers to count how many friends I have right now that are pregnant!

One of my best friends is going to have a baby in the coming Spring and I am so excited.

But recently, I have been blessed with a new nephew and a new neice!!! I am so blessed! I now have 5 neices/nephews!
I am going to have to get a second or third job to be able to spoil them they way I want to though. :)
Two february babies..and just 15 days apart. :)

Team Marcus

It has been a while since our extended family has had a baby boy in the mix of things. Conner was the last boy born and he is almost five! Don't get me thinking about that or I will cry! :) But soon we will have a sweet boy named Marcus to shake things up and I am so excited to have a new nephew in a few weeks! We got to celebrate by having a shower for Karen this past weekend. Here are some shots of the special day!

Team Molly.

This past weekend I got to help host a baby shower for my sister in law, Jennifer. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Molly. :) We had a great time and definitely made some memories and snapped some pictures to remember the day in the future.

Nana with her two baby girls both due a week apart. She needs some prayer! :)

Next up is a baby shower for Marcus, my new nephew coming soon too! Can't wait to share pictures from Marcus and Karen's baby shower!   Isn't God amazing? He has blessed our family with two babies that are a week apart! I got dibs on babysitting first! :)) Well, after the Nanas and Papas. :)

Ryan, Mason, and Charlotte

So many friends and family I know are pregnant and having babies! Ryan and Mason were very patient and decided to wait until the baby was born to find out if it was a boy or a girl. I don't think I could do that!! Charlotte was born a few weeks ago! :) Here are some shots from the session.

15 of my favorites in 2012!

I am finally getting around to sharing some New Years stuff! I wanted to share some of my favorite times of 2012! And looking so much forward to the new year. In no particular order...

1. working at the Children's shelter and being humbled by their bravery.  I was brought to tears every time I went to teach art. I had a little girl there that would just cry for her mommy the whole time we were in art class. I thought how brave she was to sleep in a bed by herself in an unknown place and not know what was going to happen next. It always made me think of this quote..

2. staying in the villas at the beach and having spontaneous weekends with the boys.

3. Annual Ledford Family beach trip-and all of our adventures...and seeing Joslin play in the ocean for the first time.

4. witnessing the release of 7 sea turtles back in to the ocean after being released from the sea turtle hospital.

5. getting to talk with and hug my Uncle battling with Cancer

6. finding out I was going to have another niece and another nephew!

Jen--I have no preggo pics of you! :)

7. spending some summer time with mom
.

8. our trip to texas--friends, family, and all things Texas.

9. seeing Conner's face light up at his birthday party when he saw all the decorations and people

10. Christmas time with family

11. getting to witness Conner learning and growing, learning more about Jesus, and playing tball for the first time--and-I can't believe he will be five this year!

12. growing in my photography and being featured in a magazine and a calendar

13. seeing Ella's first dance recital-yes i cried. :)
14. Celebrating Caleb turning the big 1-0! Even though it was a panthers party!

15. Anniversary date night with my sweet husband and the Leonard Cohen poem. I love all of our date nights but this one stuck out to me the most for the year. :)

I am incredibly blessed. And I could make my list go on and on.
There were some definite lows of my year but i want to choose to highlight the positive.
I cannot wait for 2013 and the things it will bring. I do have some goals
I have set for myself. I also have some things I am staying hopeful about. I know God knows
the desires of our hearts.
One weird thing about New Years Eve is I did not get to spend it with Michael because he, Caleb, and David went to the Chick fil A bowl.
JEALOUS. :)
But I did get to ring in the new year with some good company.
And if my company in bringing in the new year is any indication of how my year will be.....I can''t wait for what is to come. :)
