15 of my favorites in 2012!

I am finally getting around to sharing some New Years stuff! I wanted to share some of my favorite times of 2012! And looking so much forward to the new year. In no particular order...

1. working at the Children's shelter and being humbled by their bravery.  I was brought to tears every time I went to teach art. I had a little girl there that would just cry for her mommy the whole time we were in art class. I thought how brave she was to sleep in a bed by herself in an unknown place and not know what was going to happen next. It always made me think of this quote..

2. staying in the villas at the beach and having spontaneous weekends with the boys.

3. Annual Ledford Family beach trip-and all of our adventures...and seeing Joslin play in the ocean for the first time.

4. witnessing the release of 7 sea turtles back in to the ocean after being released from the sea turtle hospital.

5. getting to talk with and hug my Uncle battling with Cancer

6. finding out I was going to have another niece and another nephew!

Jen--I have no preggo pics of you! :)

7. spending some summer time with mom
.

8. our trip to texas--friends, family, and all things Texas.

9. seeing Conner's face light up at his birthday party when he saw all the decorations and people

10. Christmas time with family

11. getting to witness Conner learning and growing, learning more about Jesus, and playing tball for the first time--and-I can't believe he will be five this year!

12. growing in my photography and being featured in a magazine and a calendar

13. seeing Ella's first dance recital-yes i cried. :)
14. Celebrating Caleb turning the big 1-0! Even though it was a panthers party!

15. Anniversary date night with my sweet husband and the Leonard Cohen poem. I love all of our date nights but this one stuck out to me the most for the year. :)

I am incredibly blessed. And I could make my list go on and on.
There were some definite lows of my year but i want to choose to highlight the positive.
I cannot wait for 2013 and the things it will bring. I do have some goals
I have set for myself. I also have some things I am staying hopeful about. I know God knows
the desires of our hearts.
One weird thing about New Years Eve is I did not get to spend it with Michael because he, Caleb, and David went to the Chick fil A bowl.
JEALOUS. :)
But I did get to ring in the new year with some good company.
And if my company in bringing in the new year is any indication of how my year will be.....I can''t wait for what is to come. :)
